This is one of my free-time projects. It is heavily inspired by a Greek city, Florina, which has a similar river crossing it. The project was created in Unreal Engine 5.1. I used both free and paid assets from the marketplace, Megascans, as well as materials, decals, and other assets from the Quixel library. I even tried the LumaAI app for creating a couple of Nerfs, which I then added to the scene. Regarding the assets, Nanite was enabled wherever possible for better performance because the level was pretty huge. For lighting the environment I used Lumen and hardware Ray Tracing. For the shots, I set up camera rig rails on different spots and as a result, I rendered 6 different videos, both day and night. The final renders were edited in both Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro. I did some color grading, added some effects, and used cinematic LUTs for a more dramatic and realistic effect. The final result is a 3840x2160 resolution - 24 fps video, which you can find on my YouTube channel. It took me almost a month, and (fun fact) I saw a powerful laptop crashing more than 40 times until I decided to use my PC for the final renders :)
